The recording was done using A-B stereo microphone technique, using a pair of omni Brüel \u0026amp; Kjær 1 inch measurement microphones renowned for their high accuracy and sonic characteristics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere were additional vintage tube microphones on many percussion elements – Neumann M49, Neumann U67 and AKG C12. The recording and mix were done live on a Studer model 089  console.
