Night Dreamer / TWINN

Established in 2019, Night Dreamer is an analogue-focused platform for recordings, production and archiving.

Bringing together direct-to-disc sessions, reissue-focused sublabels, reel-to-reel editions and collaborative projects, Night Dreamer explores different ways of capturing and presenting music through analogue processes. Each project is guided by a shared attention to detail - from performance and recording to the physical format itself.

Night Dreamer takes its name from ‘Night Dreamer’, Wayne Shorter’s 1964 album and his first for Blue Note as a bandleader - a record that reflects the spirit of spontaneity and craft.

Across all projects, Night Dreamer is driven by a simple idea: that the way music is recorded and produced shapes how it is heard and experienced.

TWINN is a curated reel-to-reel archival series launched by the analog-focused music platform Night Dreamer.

Pure Analog Format: Each release is a 1:1 copy duplicated directly from original master tapes or stereo mixdowns.

High-Quality Tape: Reels are individually duplicated using RTM blank tape.

Custom Made: Tapes are built to order with specific tape speeds and EQ curves matching individual playback machines.

First Release: The debut release on the series was Finn Peters’ Stargazers self-titled project.
