Sea Poetry is the second album by the Rafał Jackiewicz Quartet, released in late 2025. The album is a contemporary jazz work that explores a subtle, meditative sound inspired by the sea, space, and poetic reflection.
The album was recorded entirely in analogue, using tape machines and analogue equipment for the entire process, from preamps to mixing and mastering, to achieve a warm and spacious sound.
The music uses the sea as a metaphor for a space that connects and holds mystery, with each phrase contributing to a narrative about the relationship between humanity and nature
This new reel tape recorded as analog domain on a Studer A827 tape machine at Custom34 Studio, Gdańsk – 28–29 July 2025. The tape was dubbing by RTM in France to LPR90 audio tape. Strictly limited to only 100 copies, each hand-numbered.
