This unique recording of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto employs a basset clarinet instead of a conventional clarinet. Clarinetist Kjell Fageus is joined by the Royal Orchestra Stockholm, conducted by Eri Klas for this unique recording of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto which employs a basset clarinet instead of a conventional clarinet. In addition to Mozart, the recording features music by three Swedish composers: an aria by Bernard Crussel, sung by Mari Anne Haggander, Lars-Erik Larsson's "Homage a Mozart" and a clarinet concerto by Gunnar de Frumerie.

A modified Technics RS-1500 for playback of the master reel tape. The Technics RS-1500 open-reel tape recorder is world renowned as one of the best for playback. However it is specially modified to achieve the best possible sound quality playback, where Telefunken M-28 for the recording of master reel tape copy. This tape recorder has been used for the recording of all of Opus 3 Records master-recordings since 1978.
