The Collection represents some of the finest work Marc Jordan has ever recorded. Songs both original and deeply loved, beautifully arranged and produced by Lou Pomanti and featuring Jazz Great Randy Brecker, reimagining classic songs with lush, romantic sound in a soft-jazz environment, capturing an artist at the height of his expressive power.
Equally compelling as a storyteller and interpreter, Marc Jordan is instantly recognisable for his rich, warm voice, his rare innovative phrasing and his remarkable ability to convey pure, unfiltered emotion. Released on March 6, 2026, Marc Jordan: The Collection is a high-fidelity compilation album from the audiophile label 2xHD.

Marc Jordan is a globally acclaimed singer-songwriter, recognised for his 1991 hit "Rhythm of My Heart" for Rod Stewart. Since signing with Warner Brothers Records in 1978, Jordan's songs have been recorded by legendary musicians like Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker, Diana Ross, and Cher, to name a few. His latest album, Waiting for the Sun to Rise, continues his exploration of jazz-tinged, original soundscapes with his distinct touch, while touching on themes of squandered potential, abiding hope, and natural beauty. The album features stunning tracks like "Rio Grande," with a soaring trumpet solo by Randy Brecker, and "Coltrane Plays the Blues," which shows Jordan's continued penchant for jazz references. Jordan's emotionally direct album suggests redemption and comfort amid ruins, with songs set in an after-hours netherworld. In addition to his solo hits like "Survival," Jordan has won several awards, including a Juno Award and a Genie Award. He is married to singer-songwriter Amy Sky, and the duo recently recorded a new Juno-nominated album of duets called "He Sang She Sang."
“Marc Jordan has always been about uncompromising quality. He has a way of not doing the obvious, and that’s what makes a great songwriter: you say it or play it differently than everybody else.” - David Foster
