To commemorate its 75th anniversary, legendary Swiss high-end audio manufacturer Nagra has joined forces with acclaimed audiophile label 2xHD to create a very special release:

For serious analogue and vinyl enthusiasts, this is shaping up to be an essential audiophile recording.
Mastered at 2xHD using Nagra equipment and created from original analogue master tapes, the album remains in the analogue domain. The LP was cut at the world-famous Bernie Grundman Mastering, plated by Master Craft and pressed at Le Vinylist in Quebec, Canada.

Montreal-based 2xHD was created by audiophile recording engineer René Laflamme and producer André Perry.
For analogue tape transfers, 2xHD is renowned for using carefully optimized Nagra equipment, including a modified Nagra-T tape machine with custom high-end playback electronics. The objective is simple: preserve the musical information, dynamics, warmth, depth and atmosphere contained within the original recordings.
The result is an uncompromising celebration of analogue sound.
