Blue Leader Tape For 1/4" Reel Tape
Leader tape is a non-magnetic strip attached to the beginning (head) or end (tail) of magnetic recording tape (1/4") to protect the magnetic media, identify tracks, and assist in auto-stop functions. It allows for safe threading without wasting recording tape and provides visual cues for reel-to-reel tape management.
Leader Tapes are ideal for protecting the beginning and the end of a magnetic tape. Also useful for dividing the tracks recorded on the reel tape.
