Salena Jones has recorded forty-three solo albums and twenty-two singles. This album, “Ballad With Luv”, which was recorded in 1980 as a sequel to the album "Stormy with Love", has become a delight to lovers of beautiful, heartfelt songs. All the songs performed by Salena on this album are masterpieces, showcasing a completely new concept of contemporary music. It is especially worth mentioning that Yuji Ohno, the talented Japanese keyboardist, composer, and arranger, created brilliant original pieces for Selena, further enhancing the charm of this album.

Selena began her career in New York when she was very young and later moved to England in 1967. She has continuously performed for over seven decades and has worked with numerous music legends around the world, including Louis Armstrong, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Sarah Vaughan as well as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Her voice is beautiful, moving, and genuinely natural. Her profound emotions and keen insight are truly admirable. Her favourite singers include Sarah Vaughan, Lena Horne, and Frank Sinatra.

“Ballad With Luv.” is remastered using DXD in the Pyramix professional studio system. Also Ultimate Hi-Quality CD (UHQCD) made in Japan and MQA encoding process are selected to produce this compact disc in order to maintain the sound quality of this album faithfully to the original master sound. UHQCD is playable on any standard compact disc player.
