Demo Special Music Tape For The Munich High-End Show 2025. This open-reel tape where was published by STS Analog for The Munich High-End Show in Germany as Demo Special Music Tape. Over the years, STS Analog have developed their own unique ‘MW process’ to make their recordings sound as good as possible.

This Tape is carefully copied from a Ballfinger M063 Open-Reel Tape Recorder to Philips N4522 open-reel tape recorder. STS Analog copy with CCIR equalization with reference level 320 nWb/m on halftrack 1/4” LPR35 tape from (Recording The Masters). STS Analog did outmost best to give you the best quality possible, but remember it is analogue technology, there will be always some noise floor (we don’t use Dolby) because it will kill the music enjoyment. Please listen with love for that old fashioned analogue recording technique. Make sure that you clean your heads regularly for optimal frequency response.

All tapes IEC biased and without Dolby noise suppression, to be as close to the original recording as possible. All tracks from the original analogue master tape. Various classical music recorded and all beautifully captured by Fritz and his small team in the Netherlands.

3. Phase purity of a recording, both the electric phase (good cable/fibre connections etc), and the acoustic phase must be acquired through proper placement of the microphones.
4. Symmetry in the recording; this means always placing the microphones in such a way that on both the left and the right side there’s an equal division of signal, and not placing mono support microphones on the extreme left and right.
5. Transparency and clarity in a recording. This does not mean an overly sharp recording, but one of softness in tone and clarity, in which the 3-dimensional recording space is being displayed
