A L'Olympia" concert refers to a live performance at the Olympia music hall in Paris on November 30, 1957.
This concert, featuring the Miles Davis Quintet, is notable for its high-quality recording and its significance as the precursor to the recording of the iconic "Ascenseur pour l'échafaud" (Elevator to the Gallows) soundtrack a few days later. The concert was a success despite limited advertising, and is now considered a highlight of Davis's career and a beautiful example of live jazz.
