Aleksey Revenko composer, guitarist, singer, poet, and writer. He is the author of instrumental works written in the style of neo-classical and romance, rock, jazz, and folk music, similar in style to the Renaissance. The style of early albums is close to academic. In those that are written later, the genres of romance, rock, jazz, and folk are easily mixed. The music is based on romantic emotional melodies, as a reflection of an unspoiled pure soul.

The ensemble of Aleksey Revenko is famous for its ability to create spaces that harmoniously combine calm classics, rebellious rock, and soulful folk motifs. The experiments of this musician sometimes end very unexpectedly.

Also, Aleksey Revenko is noted for his rare gift to do well in another artistic dimension. This is a field of struggle against human amorphism in the social world, against public stupidity and injustice. This is a field of an adult riot in the style of strong classic rock. Harmony with the world, the harmony of the world itself - that which is in huge deficit today.

YES, NEW Music On Tape with Twelve beautiful modern music and something totally different on reel-to-reel tape played and composed by Aleksey.

For five years, Alexei Revenko was looking for new aesthetics for his next studio album. This work is the result of many philosophical findings and images. Different in nature songs: from guitar romance, gravitating towards classicism to space music and symphonic music, are connected by a common philosophy of cognition of the universe and being in it. In terms of its content and mood, the "Gate of the Universe" is a large-scale philosophical canvas, the colours of which embody the content of the world and show the way to harmony. The album was recorded at Aleksey Revenko's studio.

In STS Analog Tape Recording, you will find:
1. The warm sound, that acoustic instruments possess on their own is often not captured by sound technicians.
2. Acoustic placing and recognition of the musicians in the recording space.
3. The phase purity of a recording, both the electric phase (good cable/fibre connections etc) and the acoustic phase must be acquired through the proper placing of the microphones.
4. Symmetry in the recording; this means always placing the microphones in such a way that on both the left and the right side there’s an equal division of signal, and not placing mono support microphones on the extreme left and right.
5. Transparency and clarity in a recording. This does not mean an overly sharp recording, but one of softness in tone and clarity, in which especially the 3-dimensional recording space is being displayed.
