"Might of Coincidence - Spectrum of Life" is a reel tape album featuring previously unreleased recordings from the Swiss band Might of Coincidence, dating back to 1970 and 1971. The album was released in April 2024 by Triston Masters as a limited audiophile edition of 500 hand-numbered copies. The music is described as psych-folk-hippie, and the recordings were made using the original master tapes and without any digital equipment.
The album's release is the result of a project by Jürg Schopper, who acquired the master tapes after the band's initial album release in 1971 received limited attention and the band subsequently disbanded. He researched the band and discovered that the tapes contained high-quality, previously unreleased material. The master tapes were cut at Central Dubs Studio in Bern by Adi Flück, utilising a Studer A80 lathe and a Neumann VSM 70 vinyl cutting machine, ensuring an all-analogue production process.
