2xHD Reel Tape Duplication

2xHD Fusion operates in all music fields from music production and audiophile recording in analogue on Nagra IV-S reel-to-reel recorder or licencing with remastering original master reel tape recordings and marketing them in audiophile highest quality sound physical music formats.

For the recording of our tapes, the original 1/4" 15ips NAB or CCIR master tapes were played on a Nagra-T reel tape recorder, modified with high-end tube playback electronics, wired with OCC silver cables from the playback head directly to a Nick Doshi tube head preamplifier. The Nagra-T reel-to-reel recorder, with its four direct drive motors, two pinch rollers and a tape tension head, is one of the best transports ever made. A custom-built carbon fiber head block and a head-damping electronic system permit 2XHD FUSION to obtain more transparency and better 3D imaging. All master reel tape copies are recorded on a Nagra IV-S reel-to-reel recorder as 1/4" at 15ips in CCIR or NAB curve.
