It has been regarded as “The Best Jazz Recording of the Century!“ A pawnshop had operated on the site before the jazz club. Recorded in December 1976 on two NAGRA IV-S tape recorders, this audiophile recording is a sound audiophile experience. The main microphone was a pair of Neumann U47 in ORTF, on SM900 tapes from the original master tapes under licence.
