Outstandingly true genius, not only vocally but musically as well. This album showcases jazz standards of the past and present and presents them in a unique and listenable style with great arrangements.

Ingram Washington's distinctive baritone voice exhibits the smoothness of Billy Eckstine while his vocal styling shows a touch of Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra. It is no surprise that Ingram has such a large following in Western Europe. Ingram Washington sings 10 songs from the American Songbook including “Embraceable You” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face”.

"I DON'T WANT TO SOUND LIKE EVERY OTHER RECORDING THAT YOU MIGHT HEAR THESE DAYS, AND MY ATTEMPT MAY NOT SUIT EVERYONE's EARS, BUT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MISS LISTENING TO SOFT RELAXING LOVE SONGS, TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS, POUR YOUR FAVORITE DRINK, PULL UP A CHAIR, KICK OFF YOUR SHOES, AND JOIN ME" - Ingram Washington
